Pamela Zimba

Pamela graduated from Bard College through the Bard Prison Initiative in 2017 with an Associate’s Degree in Liberal Arts. After her release in 2018, Pamela’s personal experience inspired her to advocate for criminal justice reform. She is currently a Program Assistant in the Gender, Racial and Ethnic Justice department of The Ford Foundation.

In addition, Pamela is a member of the Interfaith Prison Partnership advisory council, serving as Co-chair of the Housing Committee. She is also a board member of the New York State Defenders Association, and an advisory member on NYS Assemblymember Chris Burdick’s Correction Committee.
